The user group prioritisation function allows you to individually define the charging priority for specific user groups. This is particularly helpful in ensuring that certain vehicles, which need to be quickly available for use again, are charged first.

What is user group prioritisation?
With user group prioritisation, charging stations can be set so that certain user or vehicle groups are given priority during the charging process. This means that these vehicles are charged at a higher speed (e.g., 22 kWh), allowing them to be ready for use more quickly. Non-prioritised vehicles will also be charged, but at a reduced charging speed (e.g., 5 kWh), ensuring that priority vehicles are served first.
What are the benefits of user group prioritisation?
User group prioritisation is particularly useful for vehicles that need to be quickly available for use again, such as company cars or delivery vehicles. By prioritising these groups, it ensures that they are charged first and do not experience unnecessary wait times.
The user group prioritisation function is closely connected with the reev Balancer. The Balancer ensures that power peaks are avoided and that the available power is evenly distributed across the charging stations. By combining these two functions, the following can be ensured:
- Load imbalances (uneven distribution of electrical load) are avoided.
- Overloads in the power grid are prevented, as prioritisation is intelligently controlled within the available network capacity
How do I activate user group prioritisation?
- Create a user group: Navigate to the "User groups" menu item and create a new user group using the "Create a new user group" button. Follow the steps in this guide.
- Prioritisation: After filling in the fields for name, billing, tariff, and charging stations, you will reach the "Prioritisation" section.
- Save: Confirm your selection and save the changes.
