Step 1: Enter initial details
Please enter the following details in the form:
- First name
- Last name
- Email Address
- Contact
- Name of the location
- Adress of the location
Step 2: Select backend connection type
Please provide information on how your current charging infrastructure is connected to our backend or - in case of an outstanding installation - how the charging infrastructure will be connected to the backend.
- If you are using a reev Stick to connect, please select LTE. If you are using an alternative LTE/SIM card for the EMS commissioning process, we might need to perform firmware updates to your chargepoints.
- If you are using a Teltonika router, please enter the serial number, MAC address, and router model. Refer to the sticker on the router to locate the required information (see screenshot below). If you are using an alternative router, we might need to perform firmware updates to your chargepoints.
Step 3: Select the type of load management
Based on your business needs, please select the type of load management you require:
- choose between: static load management or dynamic load management
- If you select dynamic load management, please ensure to use the TQ Energy Manager EM420 as the electricity meter for your charging infrastructure. If you are not using this meter, contact us at support@reev.com
Step 4a: Distribution and phase rotation
Use the attached Excel-file within the installation protocol to enter the required information regarding the distribution and phase rotation within your charging infrastructure. After you entered the information, please upload the excel-file again!
| Limit | Connection point |
HV | 200 |
|
UV1 | 125 | HV |
UV2 | 100 | UV3 |
UV3 | 120 | HV |
UV4 | 100 | HV |
UV5 | 40 | UV4 |
UV6 | 60 | UV4 |
UV7 | 50 | HV |
The table above is based on the topology of the electrical infrastructure (exemplary setup).
- The limit of sub-fuse 3 (UV3) is 120 with a direct connection to to the main fuse (HV)
- The limit of sub-fuse 6 (UV6) is 60 with a connection to sub-fuse 4 (UV4) instead of the main fuse (HV)
With this example as a reference, please fill out the table according to your individual setup.
Step 4b: Protection and phase rotation
We use Phase Exact Load Management (PELM) to distribute electrical loads more precisely across the phases in a three-phase power system. This approach ensures that each phase carries an equal or appropriately distributed load, which is critical for maintaining the balance, efficiency, and reliability of the electrical system.
Example:
- As shown in the graphic, charging point 1 (L1) is connected to Phase 3 (L3) within the power supply/network cabinet. Therefore, L3 has to be entered in the first row of the excel-table in field "phase rotation".
With this example as a reference, please fill out the table according to your individual setup
Step 5: Confirmation
Verify and check the information provided by clicking on the confirmation box. As soon as your installation protocol has been successfully submitted, our team will start the configuration process to activate the reev Balancer in your Dashboard.
A copy of the installation protocol will be send to your Email address. For questions, please contact us at support@reev.com
