Why do you need a license key?
- License Activation
The license key is required to activate the reev dashboard. Without this key, you cannot fully utilize its features. Please note that a license key is required for each charging point to activate the reev license. - License Classification
License keys can be purchased for either the Compact or Pro license. Your license key determines the license type for your dashboard. If you mistakenly purchased a Compact license key, you can upgrade it later in your dashboard. - Managing Charging Infrastructure
If you wish to expand the charging infrastructure in your dashboard, you may need an additional license key to add more charging points.

reev connect
The reev Connect license key must be ordered separately from the reev Connect setup kit. The reev Connect license key is in a yellow envelope with the number "two" on it.
Entering the license key
- When Adding a new charging group: If you add a new charging group, you will be prompted to enter the license key along with the activation code and EVSE ID. Enter the key in the designated field.
- When adding new charging points: Click on the charging point, and in the window that opens, enter the license key under Assign License Key.
License keys must be entered into the dashboard within two weeks of adding charging points; otherwise, the entire charging group will be set to free charging and the access control switch will remain inactive until all required license keys are added.Additional helpful articles
