Step 1: Registering a new Dashboard
Visit https://dashboard.reev.com/login and click on "New to reev? Create your Dashboard."
Enter your email address, company name, and company location. Make sure to provide a valid license key to complete the registration.
If you are unsure where to find your license key, click on "What is a license key and why do I need it."
After entering your details, you will receive a confirmation email. Check your inbox and click on the confirmation link to complete your registration.
Click on the link and fill in the remaining required information. After that, you can log in to your new dashboard
Step 2: Adding a location
Before you can add a charging group, you need to create a location:
1. Go to Administration > Locations in the dashboard and click on + Add New Location.
2. Enter the location name and address, then save this information.
Step 3: Adding Charging Groups
For requirements and a more detailed guide, please refer to our article reev Dashboard - Adding Charging Groups. After creating a location, you can add one or more charging groups:
1. Navigate to Monitoring > Charging Infrastructure and click on + Add New Charging Group.
2. Select the location where you want to add the charging group and confirm your selection.
3. Then, enter the activation codes or serial numbers of the charging points. You can find this information either in the installation report or on the operator set of the charging points.
If you do not enter the license key within two weeks of installation, the charging group will be set to "free charging." This means that no billing or documentation of charging sessions will be possible until a valid license key is added.
Step 4: Assigning Licence Keys and EVSE IDs
To ensure that your charging points are fully activated and ready for use, you need to assign license keys and EVSE IDs:
1. Assigning License Keys:
- Click on Assign License Key in your charging group.
- Enter the license key associated with your charging point. If the license key is incorrect, you will receive an error message:
"License key does not exist. Please try again or enter a different license key."
2. Assigning EVSE IDs:
- Click on Assign EVSE ID and enter the appropriate ID for your charging point. If the ID does not exist, you will see an error message:
"EVSE ID does not exist. Please try again or enter a different EVSE ID."
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What is a license key and why do I need it?
A license key is a unique code associated with your charging point. It activates the software and ensures that your charging points are fully operational. Without a valid license key, charging sessions cannot be properly documented.
How can I find my license key?
You can find your license key in the materials you received from your electrician or provider, such as the installation report or the operator set. If you cannot find it there, please contact your electrician or support.
What is an EVSE ID and where can I find it?
The EVSE ID (Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment Identifier) is a unique identifier for each charging point. This ID is often marked directly on the charging point or in the installation report.
Can I have multiple charging groups at one location?
Yes, you can create and manage multiple charging groups at one location. Make sure that each group has the appropriate license keys and EVSE IDs.
I received an error message saying the license key is not valid. What should I do?
Check that you have entered the license key correctly. If the problem persists, contact support or your electrician to ensure you are using the correct key.
Can I make changes to license keys or EVSE IDs later?

What happens if I enter the wrong EVSE ID?
