What is necessary in advance so that the integration can take place
- reev operator set
The operator / CPO (CPO = Charge Point Operator) or contracted service provider must have received the operator set. Here, you will find the necessary onboarding materials, such as QR code sticker, SIM card and activation code - Laptop
You will need a laptop to connect to the controller charging infrastructure via a RJ45 data cable - An active internet connection via Ethernet or WiFi to connect to the reev backend.
ATTENTION
Before starting to integrate the reev Software, please make sure that the technical setup of the Alpitronic hardware has been completed. Alpitronic provides instructions for this, which can be found on the reev Connect Website under "Technical setup of Alpitronic hardware".
Step-by-step Integration
In the following chapters, the integration process is demonstrated step-by-step. If you have all the necessary utensils from the previous chapter at hand, you can carry out the integration in parallel.
Configuration of the Alpitronic user interface
- Insert the SIM card in the Client SIM slot of the charging station. There are two SIM card slots. Please make sure to use the client SIM slot.
- Connect the laptop with the charging station and locate it via the IP address.
- Prepare the supplied access data (user name and password).
INFO
reev also needs the access data to provide remote support or to check configurations.
- Update the charging station to the latest version of the Alpitronics firmware before the configuration can be done.
- Configure the user interface as described below, save and restart the charging station.
Once you are successfully connected to the Alpitronics charging station, you will find yourself on the following user interface:
1. Update of HyperCharger software version
Before configuring the backend, please check under "HyperCharger Status" and "Software Version" whether the latest firmware version from Alpitronics has been installed (in the following screenshot, the latest version hyc_v1.6.7.1 (as of 09.11.2022) is highlighted in yellow).
- In case the charging station is already up to date, please continue with step 2.
- In case the charging station is not up to date, please update the firmware before continuing.
2. OCPP Configuration
2.1 Boot.Ini.File
Select the menu item „OCPP Configuration“ and afterwards the subitem „Boot.Ini.File“. Insert the required data and select „Save Configuration“.
