This article guides you through the process of reading an external RFID card to add it to your dashboard.
To add external RFID cards as charging cards to the reev Dashboard (for more information on adding charging cards in general, click here), you need to enter the UID (serial number) of the RFID card. You have several options to read this:
- Using an RFID card reader.
- Using a mobile app such as NFC tools apps. Download the app from the App Store and then follow the instructions in the app. Please do not include the colons that are included in the serial number in the app when entering it into the reev Dashboard.
- You can invite a user to use the reev app. The reev app includes an NFC reader, allowing the user to independently add an RFID card to their user account.
Alternatively, you can also add external RFID cards to your reev Dashboard via your ABL charging station. Hold the charging card against the reader of your charging station for 4-5 seconds until it blinks blue.
If your charging card meets the technical standards, it will now appear in your reev Dashboard under the Users menu, Charging Cards sub-menu, and then at the top under the "To be approved" tab. Here you can name the charging card and then add it to your reev Dashboard.
