In this article, you'll discover how to add charging cards or keyfobs (charging keychains) to your reev Dashboard. For simplicity, we'll refer to both as charging cards.

Add charging card or keyfob
Option 1: Add charging cards and assign to users directly
You can access active users via the User section, under Drivers & Vehicles in your dashboard menu. In the last section of the user details (click on the specific user), you can assign an existing or new charging card (Image 1). When creating a new user, the assignment of charging cards is automatically requested (Image 2). The charging card authorizes the respective user to charge at your charging infrastructure under the conditions set by their user group.

Option 2: Add charging card without assignment
Access the User menu, Charging Cards sub-menu, so you can save new charging cards in your dashboard without direct assignment. Click on the "Add Charging Cards" button for this purpose (Image 1). Activated charging cards authorize free charging at the entire charging infrastructure. However, you can also add the card to a "Charging Cards Only" user group afterward (e.g. for guests for free charging/charging with manual billing, Image 2) or assign it to specific users as described in "Option 1."

Difference between reev charging cards and other RFID cards
For a reev charging card or keyfob, please enter the five-digit code shown on the card or keychain. If you want to register external RFID cards, please click on "Other RFID Card." Then you need to enter the UID (serial number) of the charging card. Information about which external RFID charging cards can be added for ABL charging stations can be found here.
