In this article, we clarify which external RFID cards are supported by your ABL charging station in order to add them to your dashboard.

RFID charging cards are utilized at charging stations to authorize charging processes and to enable assignment of charging processes to users. Communication between the charging card and the charging station occurs via an RFID chip. To initiate a charging process, it is advisable to remove the charging card from your wallet to ensure the correct card is read. This principle operates similarly to contactless payment with bank cards. RFID (Radio Frequency Identification Device) describes a technology using radio waves for automatic and contactless identification and localization of objects and living beings.
