In Germany, it is legally required that all public charging stations must offer "Ad Hoc Charging" or "Spontaneous Charging." This allows drivers to charge their vehicles without prior registration or signing a contract, ensuring barrier-free charging.
The billing for spontaneous charging sessions is fully automated through the payment account you have set up, and payments are processed in the background.
Drivers who want to use your charging offer for spontaneous charging must scan the QR code, which is attached to each charging point, using their smartphone camera. They are then automatically redirected to the website https://reev.one/welcome. Here, drivers can accept the tariff you have set and provide a payment method (credit card or Apple/Google Pay). An amount of €60 is reserved on the payment method, and the amount is adjusted once the charging session is complete. Drivers will receive a receipt at the email address they provided.
