Here you can learn how to integrate the reev software into a EV Box charging station.

The integration can be done independently in a few simple steps.

What is needed for integration to take place?

  • reev operator set has arrived at the operator / CPO (CPO = Charge Point Operator) or contracted service provider. Here you will find the necessary onboarding material such as QR code stickers, SIM card and activation code.
  • An active internet connection via Ethernet, WiFi or SIM to connect to the reev backend.
  • EV Box Connect appis required to adjust the charging station settings: 

    Android App / iOS App

Step-by-Step Integration

The integration process is demonstrated step-by-step in the following chapters. If you have all the necessary utensils from the previous chapter to hand, you can carry out the integration in parallel.


Connect charging station to the app


Write down the serial number of your charging station, this will be required in the further process. The serial number looks like this: EVB-XXXXXXXXX


Enter security code

  • Enter the security code of your charging station to authorize the EVBox APP with your charging station. 
  • The security code can usually be found on a large cardboard cut-out in the installation packaging of your charging point. 
  • Enter the code and press "Authorize".


Activate installer mode

  • To configure the charging station on the reev backend, the installer mode must be activated.
  • There you will be asked again for the "Security Code".


Change the backend

  • Select the category "Charging Management Platform" and then "Different backend URL"
  • You can then enter the reev backend URL there: ws://ocpp.reev.com



Sometimes the app needs a short moment to open the selection.


APN data

If you operate the charging station with a reev Sim card, please use the following login data.

  • APN-name: emonvia
  • username: emonviaCS
  • password: sqWTzDPFx2


Restarting the charging station

  • Please save the new settings for the charging station. 
  • Restart the charging station after a few minutes.
