General Questions
Which reev Dashboard license do I need to use the reev GHG quotas?
- The reev GHG quota for company electric vehicles and pool vehicles can be used with the reev Dashboard Compact and Pro licenses.
- The reev GHG quota for publicly accessible charging points can be used with the Pro license.
- You can view your current license in the top left of your dashboard, next to the reev logo. In the top right, you can click on "Upgrade" to switch to a higher license.
When will I receive my earnings from the reev THG quotas?
- Your reev GHG quotas are forwarded to the Federal Environment Agency for certification shortly after submission. This process can take several months. After successful certification, we will trade your THG quota, and you will receive the proceeds paid to your specified bank account.

What are the requirements to claim the reev GHG quota for company electric vehicles and pool vehicles?
- Your company must be listed as the owner on the vehicle registration certificate (Part 1).
- The GHG quota mechanism is a German instrument, so it can only be applied for in Germany.
- The law states that the GHG quota can only be claimed for fully electric vehicles (BEVs) and only once per year.
Can the GHG quota for company electric vehicles and pool vehicles be claimed for plug-in hybrids?
- No. The law specifies that the GHG quota can only be claimed for fully electric vehicles (BEVs).
Can I claim my reev GHG quota for the same vehicle multiple times?
- The GHG quota can only be claimed once per year per electric vehicle. After uploading the vehicle registration certificate, the data is sent to the Federal Environment Agency, which certifies the quotas. They will also check if the quota has already been claimed for that vehicle within the year.
Until when can vehicle data be uploaded in the reev Dashboard?
- The legal deadline for submitting GHG quotas for electric vehicles to the Federal Environment Agency is mid-November. Due to the 14-day withdrawal period from reev for private vehicles, our deadline is shifted earlier. This means vehicle registration certificates for the current year could be uploaded until the end of October. The upload for this year is now closed and will be available again in 2024.

What are the requirements to claim the reev THG quota for publicly accessible charging points?
- The charging group must be compliant with calibration law and publicly accessible according to the German Charging Station Ordinance (LSV).
- The charging points must be registered with the Bundesnetzagentur.
Can I claim the "reev GHG quota for publicly accessible charging points" for non-public charging sessions?
- All charging electricity consumed at your publicly accessible charging points is eligible, including charging by employees, pool vehicles, or plug-in hybrids (PHEVs).
