At charging stations, RFID charging cards are used to authorize and uniquely assign charging sessions to users. Communication between the charging card and the station occurs via an RFID chip.
To initiate a charging session, we recommend taking the charging card out of your wallet to ensure the correct card is read.
This principle works in the same way as contactless payment with bank cards. RFID (Radio Frequency Identification Device) is a technology for transceiver systems that enables the automatic, contactless identification and localization of objects and living beings using radio waves.
