This article shows you how to add users to your dashboard to authorize them for charging at your stations.
Adding Drivers & Vehicles
In the reev Dashboard, you can add users to authorize them to charge at your infrastructure. To do this, go to the Users menu, then to the Drivers & Vehicles submenu, and click the "Add" button to invite new users.
In the next step, you can distinguish between users with and without an email address, covering two different use cases:
- User with an Email Address: A specific driver is created who can also authorize themselves at the charging stations via the reev App*.
- User without an Email Address: A vehicle (e.g., pool vehicle) without a designated driver → authorization through charging cards; no access via the reev App → drivers cannot view the charging history, etc.
Benefits of the reev App
Your drivers benefit from the following advantages of the reev App:
- Start charging sessions with the QR codes at the charging points
- Add RFID charging cards (reev or external) to their user account independently
- Track active charging sessions in real-time
- Stop charging sessions via the app
- Receive notifications on active/completed charging sessions (15 minutes after completion of the charging process)
- View the usage of the charging infrastructure
- Access and download charging history and invoices
